Frondpelt walked into the Oak Woods followed by her leader. She carefully sniffed the air and thousands of scents flowed to her. She smelled prey, the oaks, water, and her clans scent among them. She kept padding on heeping her ears pricked for the sound of prey.

Brackenstar followed, breathing in the scents as they padded through the forest. 'A rabbit!" she thought while getting into a crouch. She stalked up to a bush and pounced on a rabbit that was munching on some grass. With a swift bite to its throat, the rabbit went limp. Brackenstar scratched at the earth and formed a whole in the ground. She placed the rabbit in it to collect later.

Frondpelt had heard Brackenstar make a catch but she was too busy making her movements careful, for she spotted a thrush. With a swift and mighty leap she had caught the bird as it tried to flutter away, and killed it before it could make a sound. She carefully placed dirt over it to collect later. She looked at Brackenstar. "Where to next?" she asked.

Brackenstar quickly got into a crouch as a sparrow landed a tail length away from her. She was in long grass and the sparrow must of not seen her. Quietly, she stalked forwards and pounced on it. It tried flying away, but she brought it back down with a swipe of her paw. Once it hit the ground she lunged at its neck and the sparrow died. She placed it where her rabbit was and then looked at Frondpelt. "Lets go closer to the river. Maybe we can do some fishing." Brackenstar suggested.

"Alright that works. I'll lead," said the OceanClan deputy, as she padded toward the river.

(Lol, I don't know I was just thinking about fishing with my dad. Sometimes I post what I'm thinking about.)

Brackenstar followed her deputy to the river that was close to the center of the forest. The she-cat sat down by the river and ran her tounge through her pelt. She adjusted herself so her shadow didn't hit the water and waited for a fish to swim by.

Frondpelt also padde up to the river, casting her shadow only behind her, and not on the river. She saw a silver shape darting by and quickly shot her paw in and hooked the fish out. She lunged for its throat as it hit the ground, and killed it. She buried it and continued looking for fish.

A large fish swam by. (A bass) 'Usually bigger fish are down farther.' Brackenstar thought as she struck her paw out at it and flung the fish in the air. She grabbed it by its throat as it fell back down. She placed it beside her and wrapped her tail around her front paws.

Frondpelt watched as Brackenstar caught a big fish. 'She really is a good hunter.' she thought. She then turned her attention back to the river and watched as ripples went by. Suddenly a big fish loomed out of nowhere and she struck out a paw to get it. It was so big that after using one paw it only came out of the water a little bit. So she used her other paw and hit it again before it hit the water. (its a karp). When she bit into its throat to kill it, several succulent flalors flooded her mouth. It was good, and it would feed much of the clan. She sat down proud of her catch.

"Good catch!" Brackenstar purred happily. She looked back at the water and looked around. She spotted a water vole coming out of its den. Brackenstar quickly got into a hunter's crouch and pounced on it. She bit down into its neck and it soon went limp.

"We are going to have plenty of prey to carry back!" Frondpelt said with amusement in her eyes.

Brackenstar pricked her ears at the sounds of a bush getting trampled to the ground. She turned around and saw a large, male badger. She hissed and got into a crouch.

Frondpelt heard Brackenstar hiss and snapped away from her dreams in the ripples of water. She turned and saw a badger. She lept to her leaders side ready to fight. "Get off our territory!" she spat.

When the badger didn't leave, Brackenstar yowled a battle cry and flung herself on top of the badger. She dug her claws into the badgers back and held on as best as she could. The badger was able to throw her off.

Frondpelt immediately lept at the badger and clawed at its stomach. She backed away as a paw came slamming down at her. She moved quickly and stood up on her hind legs and beat at the badgers head.
