Swiftstar padded into the den slowly. She lay down in her nest, tired from the day's events. She rested her muzzle on her front paws and closed her eyes. Eventually, she drifted into a light sleep.

Swiftstar woke up at the sound of the cat's voice. She looked up, dazed. Her eyes narrowed in confusion, "Huh? Who are you?" She got up in a sitting position, keeping her eyes on the cat.

Waterfallstar stopped in the middle of the forest. Everything was black, almost as if shade had taken over. The muscular tom meowed, "Shade lurks around the islands and is getting stronger ever moon. They won't rest until they rule the islands...." His voice faded at the end as everything started to fade away. The prophecy though, still echoed through the forest till it was completly gone.

Swiftstar awoke with a start. She looked around, almost hoping that Waterfallstar was there. She wanted to ask him more about what he had just said. 'What could it mean?' She asked herself. Coming up with no answer, she drifted back to sleep knowing that this problem could not be solved overnight.
